Alvin Ostonal Salenga

He is a Classically trained Guitarist, Electric Guitarist and also a Pedagogue. He received his Bachelor of Music degree at the University Of Santo Tomas Conservatory Of Music. He is a core member of the UST Guitar Quartet and The UST Guitar Ensemble. He participated in major guitar competitions in the Philippines such as NAMCYA Solo Guitar Competitions (circa ‘96 and ’99). As member of the UST Guitar Quartet, the group’s major concert performances include: “Concerto Andaluz” by Joaquin Rodrigo. He is a Faculty member of the UST Conservatory of Music where he teaches classical guitar performance and an afﬁliate of the Clarion Chamber Music Ensemble. He was a Scholarship Grantee of Heiwa Nakajima Foundation (HNF), a private organization in Tokyo. And actively participated in a number of guitar competitions in Japan.

He specialises in Classical Guitar and Rock Guitar methods for ABRSM, Trinity, Rockschool & LCM International Guitar Examinations, respectively. He worked at Melodica Music Center, LLC in Dubai, UAE as a Classical & Electric Guitar Teacher. And during the span of his career at Mirath Art Center LLC, He has produced original works for Classical Guitar Ensemble.

Now he is focusing as a Solo Artist on both Classical & Electric Guitar worlds. He release a new Song Composition entitled, “When I’m with You”, via Tunecore, and it is now live and available on major online music streaming platforms.
